"LULU" is named after the historical Lurik fabric material used to make this handbag essential. The Lurik fabric is a traditional handwoven fabric from Yogyakarta, in the province of Central Java. The Lurik fabric is made entirely by hand - from thread coloring/ dyeing and pattern making to hand weaving with a wooden pedal loom and weaving tools.
