SKIN by jem is a new, small-batch beauty brand and skincare line launched in 2020 by makeup artist, aesthetician, mom, and wife Jessica Monzalvo. Jess is an immigrant from Pachuca Hidalgo, Mexico and now lives in Los Angeles, CA. SKIN by jem was inspired by natural skin remedies Jess learned from her grandmother. After years of curating custom skincare regimens for her clients, Jess decided to create her own face mask — and thus, SKIN by jem was born.
